WTW Program Options

Several levels of program delivery models for the WTW Program are described, ranging from the standard model to the full service model.

The WTW Program can be modified to meet the needs of any type or size of workplace. All options are offered on a cost-recovery basis and the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit and the respective workplace will mutually agree to the terms of any partnership.

PLATINUM – FULL SERVICE MODEL

In this model, your workplace would agree to provide full funding for a workplace specific, comprehensive workplace wellness program. A team of qualified professionals would be assigned to work with your management and labour group to form and sustain a wellness committee. Assistance would be provided to plan, design, develop, implement, and evaluate a customized, comprehensive program. This option would include web-based resources to allow employees, retirees, and family members access from home. As a minimum, your program would include three initiatives per year, each consisting of the 10 program components.

GOLD – PREMIUM SERVICE MODEL

In this model, your workplace would agree to provide full funding to redesign existing program materials with a workplace specific “look and feel”. One or more qualified professionals would be assigned to work with your management and labour group to form a wellness committee. Assistance would be provided to plan, design, develop, implement, and evaluate a customized, comprehensive program. This option would include web-based resources to allow employees, retirees, and family members access from home. As a minimum, your program would include three initiatives per year, each consisting of the 10 program components.

SILVER – CUSTOMIZED MODEL

In this model, your workplace would agree to provide full funding to re-design existing program materials with a workplace specific “look and feel”. The funding would also be used to copy/print the program materials for distribution to employees, retirees, and family members. Limited consultation would be available to assist with the formation of a wellness committee as well as to plan, design, develop, implement, and evaluate a customized, comprehensive program. This option would include web-based resources to allow employees, retirees, and family members access from home. As a minimum, your program would include three initiatives per year, each consisting of the 10 program components.

BRONZE – PREMIUM MODEL

In this model, your workplace would agree to provide funding to cover the cost of the printing of multiple copies of the materials developed for the generic WTW program for distribution to your workers, retirees, and family members. Limited consultation would be available to assist with the formation of a wellness committee as well as to plan, design, develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive program. As part of this model, the workplace would have access to web-based resources from the Health Unit’s website. As a minimum, the WTW Program includes three initiatives per year, each consisting of the 10 program components.

BRONZE – STANDARD MODEL

In this model, your workplace would receive single copies, at no cost, of the materials

developed for the generic WTW Program. Limited consultation would be available to assist with the formation of a wellness committee as well as to plan, design, develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive program. As part of this model, the workplace would have access to web-based resources from the Health Unit’s website. As a minimum, the WTW Program includes three initiatives per year, each consisting of the 10 program components.
