In-Class Workshops – Gr. 8 students participate in a full day sexual health workshop facilitated by a Public Health Nurse from the Health Unit, a Social Worker from Sexual Assault Crisis Centre and a Health Promoter from AIDS Committee of Windsor. The workshops cover healthy relationships, community services, contraception and sexually transmitted infections.

A short quiz you and your partner can take to determine if you are in a healthy relationship.

Take the challenge to see if you know how to apply a condom.
When are you ready to have sex and protect yourself.
Before starting a sexual relationship, ask your partner the following information
Determine if you are at risk for getting a sexually transmitted infection.
If you care about your partner and you’re not ready for sex, it’s OKAY TO WAIT! If your partner cares about you, they will respect your decision to wait.
