Grade 8 Program
Up one levelIn-Class Workshops – Gr. 8 students participate in a full day sexual health workshop facilitated by a Public Health Nurse from the Health Unit, a Social Worker from Sexual Assault Crisis Centre and a Health Promoter from AIDS Committee of Windsor. The workshops cover healthy relationships, community services, contraception and sexually transmitted infections.

- When are you ready to have sex and protect yourself.
- Before starting a sexual relationship, ask your partner the following information
- Determine if you are at risk for getting a sexually transmitted infection.
- If you care about your partner and you’re not ready for sex, it’s OKAY TO WAIT! If your partner cares about you, they will respect your decision to wait.
