Recess Revival
For the 6th year, the Windsor-Essex Health Unit in partnership with the Health Action Windsor-Essex School Sub-committee is offering Grant Applications for Recess Revival to support recess projects. The available grants are for: “Updating the Tarmac Surface worth $500.00”, and “Kits for Active Kids worth $300.00”. Last year, 25 schools applied for Recess Revival and 17 schools won grants for their projects. Grants were awarded via a random draw. Note: previous winners are not eligible to receive additional grants.
We invite new schools who want to increase students’ physical activity levels at recess to participate in the Recess Revival initiative.
