Helmets
In Ontario, a person under 18 years old must wear a bike helmet when biking. The Canadian Safety Council also insists that a bike helmet be worn when roller-blading, skate-boarding or riding a scooter. Helmets "can reduce the risk of head injury by up to 85%" - Ministry of Transportation, 2005.
