2010 Beach Water Quality Testing Program
The 2010 beach season is underway and the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit has been testing the water at 10 public beaches each week during the summer to make sure that they are safe for swimming. Once a week, Public Health Inspectors take water samples to check E. coli levels in the water, and every Friday the Health Unit’s website is updated with the results.
