Everyone Needs A Flu Shot
HPV vaccine for grade 8 girls
 
Parent Consent

The Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is a very common virus that causes cervical cancer and
genital warts. About 70 % of adults will have at least one HPV infection in their lifetime.

Grade 8 girls will be offered the free, publicly funded vaccine at school based clinics. If your child won’t be able to attend the clinic date at her school, there will be ‘catch-up’ clinics at the Health Unit.
