Boil Water Advisory Rescinded - Monday, July 26, 2010
Dr. G. Allen Heimann, Medical Officer of Health is rescinding the Boil Water Advisory issued on July 23, 2010 for customers in the Village of Comber in Lakeshore within the following areas including South of Highway 401 to County Road 46 inclusive of municipal #14402 to #3223 County Road 46.
Beach Water Testing Results - July 28, 2010
Results indicate that HOLIDAY BEACH IS CLOSED DUE TO EXTREMELY HIGH E.COLI LEVELS and all beaches,except for Lakeside Beach, are posted as acceptable limits have been exceeded.

Dr. Allen Heimann, Medical Officer of Health, is advising residents to continue to take proper precautions during the ongoing hot weather conditions throughout the area.
Warning: Public Health Inspection Scam
Dr. G. Allen Heimann, Medical Officer of Health, is issuing a warning to all local food premise owners and operators in Windsor-Essex County that individuals alleging to be a public health inspector are calling businesses to schedule an inspection of their premise. The staff at the Health Unit have received two reports of such activity.
