Quit Smoking Resources for Youth

The Health Unit’s Comprehensive School Health Department offers Quit 4 Life . These quit-smoking classes are offered at high schools across Windsor-Essex County during the school year. Quit 4 Life was developed by Health Canada. Contact your school office to find out if the program is being offered there, or contact the Health Unit at 519-258-2146, ext. 1260.

The Quit 4 Life program is also available online for 4 weeks. Users must complete online activities including how to get started, how to quit and how to stay smoke-free. Other services include a quitting calendar to keep track of smoke-free days, as well as email reminders for support.
