Tobacco Vendors/Retailers
Selling tobacco products isn’t as simple as you might think. Vendors in Ontario are governed by the Smoke Free Ontario Act (SFO) which tells them who they can sell tobacco products to, how they can display and advertise tobacco products, what signs they have to post, and what the consequences are if they fail to follow the law. For more information on how the SFO affects tobacco retailers, please read the articles below or contact the Tobacco Hotline at 519-258-2146, ext. 3218 or email tobacco@wechealthunit.org.
