5 To TEN Yes You Can!

A series of three presentations on the benefits of vegetables and fruit and how to incorporate more of them into meals and snacks. They are appropriate for an adult audience.

Learn about phytochemicals, the health-protecting compounds naturally present in vegetables and fruit, and how colour indicates their presence. This presentation may be used by community groups to enhance awareness of the benefits of eating 5 to 10 servings of vegetables and fruit each day.
These notes accompany the 5 to TEN - Yes, you can! presentation.
This presentation highlights ways of eating more vegetables and fruit using a true/false format. Lots of tips are given for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks throughout the day in ways that are quick and easy.
This presentation focuses on overcoming common barriers for not eating more vegetables and fruit, like not having enough time, too expensive, and not knowing how to prepare them. The good news is that most of these barriers can be overcome by having a little knowledge, a good attitude, and a bit of planning.
