Windsor Business Urged to "Shape Up" in Support of Health Coalition's Call For Action
The Windsor & District Chamber of Commerce is calling on the business community to use the extra sunshine during the summer solstice to begin a commitment to being more active.
From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday June 21st people are being urged to gather work colleagues, friends and family for a walk, jog, rollerblade or bicycle ride.
“We need to get fit in every way. A physically healthy community leads to a fiscally healthy community.” says Peter Hrastovec, Chair of the Windsor & District Chamber of Commerce.
Please join us as we kick off this campaign in support of “Go for Health Windsor-Essex”, a coalition of concerned community partners committed to reducing the high rate of chronic disease in our area.
