Community Crisis Centre

The community crisis centre provides short-term counselling to those 16 years of age and older, and in need of immediate help coping with mental health problems and crisis.


Distress Centre

Contact Information:

519-256-5000 (noon to midnight)

The distress centre is a volunteer based telephone service that provides emotional support, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and referrals to community resources. This service is free, anonymous, confidential, and available to all individuals in need.

Provides education and information concerning suicide awareness, suicide prevention and community crisis resources. Presentations and training programs are available to professionals and the general public.
