Nutrition and Pregnancy

From the beginning of pregnancy until the baby is born, the unborn child is growing and needs good nutrition. Healthy eating during pregnancy ensures that adequate nutrients are available to help the baby grow. Canada’s Food Guide to Healthy Eating provides a pregnant woman with all the information she needs to eat healthy.
