Breastfeeding is a skill
- Breastfeed as soon as possible after birth.
- Your baby is most awake and ready to learn how to breastfeed during the first 2 hours after birth.
- Get help to breastfeed.
The Windsor-Essex County provides an Infant Nutrition / Breastfeeding class for expectant parents. It covers breastfeeding, formula feeding and baby’s first foods.
