2006 Budget

The audit is commencing April 23rd and we will be preparing several financial statements for all the 100% programs as well as cost share.  Heart Health funding is requiring an audit this year and two of the Early Childhood Development projects wound up in 2006.  We will receive settlement forms and guidelines and the due date for submissions are usually not until June 30th. 

2007 Budget

Included in your Board package was the 2007 Budget presentation made to Executive on March 23rd.  I submitted the Ministry required forms by the deadline and now require Board approval of the Budget.  Once approved, a signed hard copy must be forwarded to the Ministry and I will then adjust the internal monthly statement to reflect the approved budget.  

February and March statements as well as the cheque listings are included as hand outs.  I intend to prepare a first quarter analysis for discussion with our Treasurer after completion of the audit.
